Single Malt Tsunuki is a single malt brewed in Tsunuki distillery, where a basin-like climate with a wide range of temperatures and blessed with high quality spring water from the Mt. Kurata mountain located in the green mountains in the southwest of Satsuma Peninsula.
The "2023 Edition" is a single malt distillate to be released in 2023, and is made by vatting malt aged in a variety of barrels, mainly Bourbon barrels.
This is the 4th release product of single malt whisky distilled in Tsunuki.
(This is the second release as a "Year Edition").
Nose: Aromas of marmalade jam and loquat, along with sweet notes of honey and pancakes, and a subtle peaty aroma that spreads pleasantly.
Taste: Citrus freshness like lemon peel and a thick malty flavor develops.
Finish: Full-bodied sweetness and a pleasant bitterness linger on the palate.
ABV: 50% / Volume: 700ml
