Briccolina was the pioneer vineyard for our biodynamic approach and is now the only Barolo cru granted with the Demeter certification. It is a vineyard-garden, entirely worked by hand. It undergoes very long macerations during vinification.
The Rivetto Barolo DOCG Briccolina is a highly regarded red wine crafted from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, cultivated in the Briccolina vineyard in Serralunga d'Alba, Piedmont, Italy. This vineyard is the flagship site for Rivetto's biodynamic farming practices, certified by Demeter since 2015.
