Porto Ferreira Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) is a high quality Porto Wine, which combines the unique characteristics of the year in which it was produced with the comfort of being able to enjoy it immediately or after some aging in the bottle, according to preference. LBV Ports are single harvest wines, bottled 4 to 6 years after the vintage.
Appearance: A deep, almost opaque, ruby colour.
Aroma: An intense and complex, with prominent notes of black fruits, such as blackberries and plums. Peppery, with hints of cocoa and chocolate, and mild balsamic aromas of cedar and resin.
Palate: Full-bodied, with well-integrated acidity and lively tannins, notes of black fruits, cocoa and chocolate. A very long and balanced finish.

"With fragrant violet and red-fruit aromas, this is an enticing wine. Its structure and its concentration bring out its richness and dense black fruits. The wine is elegant, on the dry side of Ports with some firm tannins as well as fine ripe fruits and acidity. Drink this now or (better yet) wait until 2020."
